
Abraham Levi
ABRAHAM LEVI was born on January 17, 1844 (or 1864 or 1874, according to various sources) in Altdorf. He was married to Julie Levi, née Blum. Together they had the daughter LINA, later married HEILBRUNNER It was not until 1940 that ABRAHAM LEVI moved in with his daughter and son-in-law EDUARD HEILBRUNNER at Moltkestrasse 40 in Freiburg. Altdorf is still listed in the documents as „the actual place of residence“. On October 22, 1940, he and his family were arrested and deported to Gurs. From there, ABRAHAM LEVI was further deported to the Camp Recébedou subcamp, where he died on September 1, 1941.
